A life most cuddled

Verily's day had just begun with a small bit of tidying up. She had plenty of collectibles and knick knacks that she often took time to reorganize so that each thing could get it's time in the spotlight. As she moved things around Toxin walked in with his typical big mischievous smile and chirped out, " Hey, Verily! I've been looking for you!!" Verily looked at him and gently tilted her head. She spoke in a voice so soft that it was almost a whisper deapite it's deepness, "Why didn't you check my room first, silly? What can I help you with?" Toxin shook off her first question and continued to the matter at hand, "I have a little survey thing and I was wondering if you'd let me fill it out for you! In exchange for getting a few Xeros to tell me about their early life I can get some prizes. One of them is a paint set I really like, so you wouldn't mind answering some questions would you?" Verily nodded vigorously, she loved helping her friends where she could and she particularly like Toxin. Toxin started walking her through it. It was mostly just a vunch of written questions but at the end their was a part that asked for her to speak into a recording device to answer the question. It was probably the most meaningful question, "what was the most meaningful part of your early life?" Verily thought about it for a while as Toxin poked Her with the recoding device groaning in boredom and impatience. Verily grabbed the device and started, "The most important part of my childhood was my mentor, Clade. Clade still is a huge part of my life! When I was fresh out of my orb Clade would take me down to the skyfire festival and we would stay there so late I could barely keep my eyes open. They have such a vigorous need to live life to the fullest and that encouraged me to pursue my life to the fullest." Verily looked at Toxin, who was looking bored. Upon noticing her look at him he stuck out his tongue childishly making Verily chuckle. "The biggest challenge with my childhood was that Clade wasn't very much for physical affection. No hugs, no kisses, no cuddles. Nothing. That wouldn't last long though. Clade would me Cypress and they fell in love quickly! Our little family became just a little bigger, I was so excited! Cypress would cuddle anybody or anything and soon that rubbed off on Clade. She made us a very cuddly family and I needed that because I was also a very cuddly kid and Clade hadn't been receptive to that before she came along. Once I had to parents I was being cuddled nearly to death everyday and it was just a happy home!" Verily gently touched Toxin's hand and before she could do anything else Toxin reciprocates by squeezing her into him tight. "I've carried the joy and physical affection my parents gave me as a child into adulthood. I'm so thankful for my family, the ones from my childhood and the ones I've found as I grew into an adult. My family means more to me than anything else ever could and they have since I was very little." She clicks the button on the recording device and nuzzle Toxin before he takes the device and paper survey and head off. He doesn't notice her slight red color. "One day I'll raise a family too. Hopefully, it's with the person I have in mind." She gaves at the door Toxin has left through for a very long time before returning to her organization.Verily's day had just begun with a small bit of tidying up.
