LUCKY'S DAY

Lucky was hard at work training. Up, down, up, down. Push ups, leg stretches and more as the Savannah Xero trains for their next big race. There's something about the thrill of a the next race. Who will come out on top? Well, hopefully Lucky. That's what they hope for at least. They're on a track field during the spring time. A beautiful sky with clouds that dot the scene, a brisk breeze flies throughout the outside. Lucky was thankful it was such a beautiful day outside. All the more better to run and play afterwards.

Lucky jogged to the start of the track, waving to the folks they passed. They crouched down, looking ahead of themselves. GO! They shouted, not caring who heard. They sprint down the track, leaving dust in their wake. Another Xero cheers for them from the sidelines, which fired Lucky up. Lucky's legs were carrying them with ease as they prance to the finish line.

"Woohoo! And the crowd goes wild!!" Lucky cheers, cupping their hooved hands around their mouth and mimicking a loud crowd. They giggle to themself and jog back to their bag by the bleachers. Shuffling through it they find their cold, cold water bottle. They flip the lid off and take a big gulp, cooling their body and freshing their mind. Lucky thinks to themself, this is the 5th day in a row they have been at this field. They deserve a little treat! Lucky packs up their things with a smile on their face.

Lucky walks to the nearest bus stop. Listening to some music on their phone with their earbuds in. Humming to the music they enter the bus, pay the fare and sit down. They play on their phone and just let the bus take them until they feel like they're at a good spot to stop at. The bus glides down the roads and it's a smooth ride for Lucky. Lucky gets off at the stop after 12 minutes of being on the bus, winning a level of a game they were stuck on, which felt right to get off the bus then. Lucky grabbed their bag and steps off the bus, looking around at what's nearby.

Lucky looks left, looks right, looks up and down. They giggle at how silly they look and decide to go left. The city is bustling and busy, full of colorful looking characters and many noises that hum into one being, the city. Lucky passes a store of crystals, minerals and other spiritual rocks and vibes. Lucky does enjoy a good shiny object, but decides to pass.

Suddenly, a car-like noise honks that causes them to look behind them, not seeing what it was right away they shrug, about to turn back around. Then, from the corner of their eye, an ice cream shop. Perfect! Just perfect!! Lucky rushes into the shop, excited for a treat.

Lucky looks at the menu on the wall, and picks the biggest sized cone they have of cherry & chocolate ice cream, a perfect treat to reward themself with.
